Miss Kentucky USA – Madalyne

Kentucky has always been home. It is where I was pushed into adulthood at the age of 13 to help raise my siblings after my mother passed from a fentanyl overdose. I struggled with PTSD, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts, but regained my health, happiness, and hope through therapy and my family’s support. There were many times I wished for resources and a leader to step in and help me. This is why I am committed to filling that gap by working as a mentor and spokesperson for organizations and philanthropies around Kentucky. I am proud to have written a new story for my life and am grateful to be living my dream of representing this great state and working as a full-time model for companies around the country. Now I am humbled to ask for the opportunity to do so as the next Miss USA.
